Victor Au is AsiaSat’s General Counsel. He is responsible for overseeing legal affairs and regulatory compliance of the AsiaSat Group.

Victor is a qualified legal practitioner in New South Wales, Australia, a practising solicitor in Hong Kong, and holder of a Certificate in Mediation awarded by the Law Society of Hong Kong. He is a seasoned corporate, commercial and intellectual property lawyer with over 20 years of solid experience gained from international and local law firms and in-house legal departments.

Prior to joining AsiaSat, he was the Asia Pacific General Counsel of Vertiv Holdings Co., a US-based multinational corporation, with overall responsibilities of Asia Pacific legal, intellectual property and compliance functions. Prior to Vertiv, he served as in-house counsel at IDT, a Hong Kong listed company, as well as a private practising solicitor at Baker & McKenzie.

Victor holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Law and Economics from the University of Sydney, Australia and is a member of the Law Society of Hong Kong.
